With everyone eager to get some fresh air and get back outdoors, we put together a list of springtime activities to do in Norfolk this Spring.

First, start your day off right with coffee and pastries in Downtown Norfolk! Swing by The Downtown Coffee Company for a hot latte. What is your favorite coffee order? The Mulberry Market Bake Shop offers a wide variety of pastries for breakfast, or take home some homemade bread!

Kick off the start of beautiful Nebraska weather with Springtime at Poppy's! Poppy's is opening its doors to the public on May 1st and 2nd, and then again on May 8th and 9th (Saturdays 10 am-7 pm, Sundays 10 am-6 pm) at their location on 55275 837th Rd, Norfolk, NE 68701. Spring brings new life as Downtown Norfolk has recently, developing unique shopping, eating, living, working, and new artwork murals for everyone to enjoy. You can take a walk through Downtown Norfolk on the Riverpoint and admire the murals and sculpture that is brightening up our historic downtown!

For the Spring cleaning fanatics, get started with your vacuum serviced by A to Z Vac n Sew in downtown Norfolk! Clean out your kid's closet to pass on to Kookaburras Kloset. They buy and sell new to nearly new kids clothing, toys, and shoes.

Vintage goods, antiques, & furniture, oh my! Check out the Parking Lot Junk Spot at Sunset Plaza Mall on Saturday, May 8th. This event will be hosts to multiple vendors selling handmade crafts, outdoor decor, flea market finds, and more! The event will be held in the front parking lot next to First National Bank, rain or shine, from 9 am-5 pm.

There is no better way to enjoy the spring weather than spending some time at our Norfolk parks, staples in our community! Ta-Ha-Zouka Park is where you can start a walk on the Cowboy Trail, disc golf, or take your furry friend to the dog park. Enjoy fishing, canoeing, paddle boating, or a walk around Skyview Lake.

Is golfing more your style? Head over to Divots on W. Hwy 275 for mini-golf, or check out Eldorado Hills, Fair Play, Norfolk Country Club, or Kelly's Country Club! A little rusty? Get some practice on your swing before the season by visiting Norfolk's two golf simulators: Cyndi's Fun Fit Golf located in the Sunset Plaza Mall, or Hit 'Em Up found in Downtown Norfolk!

Are you itching for some live music? District Table & Tap has you covered! Spend your Friday nights with live music, dinner and drinks on the Riverpoint. This spring District Table & Tap is featuring performances by Rascal Martinez, Casey Rossiter, Project : Constellation, Vito Cole, and Joe & Tay! We all love our Norfolk community and have a non-profit that is close to our heart. The Norfolk Area Big Give is being held on May 25th, 2021! This event, known for 24-hours of giving, is where Norfolk area supporters can donate to the non-profit close to their heart. Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska hosts the Big Give. This event educates area supporters about other charities in the community. Every gift makes a difference!
