First Year of Springtime Fun Comes to Norfolk’s Pumpkin Patch

For over two decades, Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch of Norfolk, NE, has created a festive autumn experience for people of all ages. Each year there are new, engaging activities throughout the 24-acre farm. This May, Poppy’s is bringing us a whole new adventure, appropriately labeled The Spring Event! The beloved farm will open its door to the public on May 1st and 2nd, and then again on May 8th and 9th (Saturdays 10 am-7 pm, Sundays 10 am-6 pm) at their location on 55275 837 Rd, Norfolk, NE 68701.

A diverse arrangement of local vendors is signed up to have their products on display as well. Some of these include clothing boutiques, craft vendors, furniture craftsmen, and direct sales consultants. Before you browse the numerous vendors all around the place, those 21 and older should be sure to stop at “The Watering Pit” (temporarily converted from corn pit) for an adult refreshment provided by District Table & Tap!

All of the locally famous attractions will be available, except the corn pit and corn maze. Don’t be disheartened by that, though; Real Reptiles will be there with a variety of scaly friends to encounter! In addition to the stimulating options the farm offers, VR Game Truck will be on-site and provide a thrilling virtual reality gaming experience.

Finally, the main attractions of The Spring Event are the baby animals and the new petting zoo! The darling kids (goats), chicks, and ducklings will all be ready to be held and up for photos with their visitors.
