Business Spotlight: Dr. Nicholas Kuchar, Kuchar Chiropractic of Norfolk

There's no place like home for Dr. Nicholas Kuchar, a practitioner of chiropractic. Kuchar Chiropractic has been serving Norfolk and the surrounding area since August 2017. He grew up in Battle Creek and is a graduate of Battle Creek High School.

In 2010, he graduated with honors from Palmer College Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, but never forgot his roots in the Norfolk area.

Dr. Kuchar began practicing chiropractic at Humphrey in 2011, and in 2014, began practicing in the nearby town of Leigh.

When Kuchar Chiropractic opened in Norfolk, Dr. Nick said, "New patients are always welcome, and we will work around your busy schedule." Dr. Nick, a flexible and personable guy if you ever met one!

Today, Dr. Nick continues to learn from his patients and explained to us his philosophy: “I believe that people are created to be healthy and whole—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I am committed to helping people's journey toward optimal health through chiropractic care. Because of this, if the office hours don't work for you, give me a call, and we will schedule a time that does.”

“I take pride in knowing my patients trust me throughout all stages of their lives. From adjusting a newborn baby hours after birth, adjusting a person in hospice care to get some relief, and everything in between. It is truly an honor to be able to help,” said Kuchar.

Dr. Nick’s hobbies include woodworking and taking rides with his family and friends on 4-wheelers. Growing up, for many of us, living in this area, in the small town of Battle Creek or other nearby towns, perhaps provided us an opportunity to live in the outdoors and enjoy the good life. Dr. Nick enjoys fishing, golfing, and hunting. Maybe, teaching his kids how to set their hook for the first time could be why he chose to move back to this area. What exactly inspired Dr. Kuchar to open a practice back home in Norfolk? He didn't say, but we're glad he's back home where he is needed.

What made you want to get started in Chiropractic Care?
“After watching my dad almost get paralyzed in an accident, the only way he got back to doing his normal daily routine was because he went to a chiropractor.  He went from a state that he could not walk to within a few months. He was back to his favorite hobby of playing golf; it was amazing,” said Kuchar.

What are your plans for the future?
“We are excited to be able to continue to help the people in our community and surrounding communities be their healthiest self. We are looking forward to being able to have a grill out this summer to show our appreciation to our patients,” said Kuchar.
